Service Items - Sales Product Type and Service Contract Without Subscription Module

Summary:

Hi,

Our Customer is selling services on one time billing for one year (1 year duration), we need revenue management to recognize the revenue through the year period (with contract start date and contract end date).

As we checked, the "Sales Product Type" which gives us this ability is the "Subscription", but Our customer is not implemented "Subscription" Module as part of the project scope.

Can we use the "Subscription" Sales product type without the subscription module? or it may not working without the module?

Or you have other workaround for Services item, which requires Contract start and end date, without "Covered" item association?
