By mistake defined Control Account with Account type Liability in COA Segments. Migrated all 18 Months TBs and now business validated balances in July-2023 and system is showing Opening balance in this account due to Liability type. In EBS there is no balance in this account for same period as they defined as Expense account.

If I change Account type to Expense now. What is the impact on previously loaded 18 Months TB Balances in PTD/YTD.

If there is no impact on balances, i will change it. Business is giving two options:
