Post as salary amount as annual salary instead of adjustment component

Can we post a compensation amount column as the annual salary as a whole instead of posting the value as an adjustment?

Content (required):

We have setup the salary basis type as 'Salary amount is determined by user' for all our configured salary basis. Is there a way we can transfer a compensation amount column as the annual salary as a whole instead of posting the value as an adjustment?

Presently, we have selected salary component - Adjustment and the diff of current and next year salary gets posted to core.
