How to Bulk Assign Assets to a New Meter Template?

Create a new meter template for a new maintenance need. Potentially hundreds of assets that would use the new meter. How would one assign those specific assets to the meter?

New meter created after all IB assets loaded. Would like to add the meter to all target assets. Specific item numbers are attached to the meter. How would I get all the assets for the item number(s) to use the new meter rather than have to go out and add asset by asset? Thanks.
