EPCM - Setting current month number in a account dimension member

Hi All,

I have a scenario where I need current month and previous month in number for some mathematical expression. My plan is to set the number in account dimension before my main rule execution starts either via member formula or custom calculation rule. Can someone help with any inbuilt formula or MDX format or any case statement approach?

e.g.:

([Target Margin]/12)*month, where month=1 for Jan, 2 for Feb,...12 for Dec.
