Issue with Invoice Liability SLA

We have a Business Requirement as below:

1. Expense Line distribution should be driven by Project if Project is tagged with Invoice Line

2. Primary Balancing Offset is required

3. For Liability account, in addition to Primary BSV getting copied from invoice line, business wants LOB segment (Segment2) should also be copied from Invoice Line distribution if it is non-intercompany invoice

4. For intercompany AP invoice, it should not copy Segment2 from Invoice Line

To achieve above requirement, We have written SLA rule to copy Segment2 into Liability account from expense line for non intercompany invoice. The rule is working fine for Non-Project Invoices, however, when project information is present and Invoice Line distribution is getting overridden during accounting; system is not copying LOB (Segment2) to the liability account from the overridden distribution combination but still copying the value entered in the distribution combination.
