Invoice Distribution DFF is not fetching the Default Value specified while creating DFF

We have created a Global Segment DFF in Invoice Distributions. In setups, we have provided a default value for this DFF ("Non-IT"). But in UI, when we create an invoice and check the Distribution line, the DFF is blank. If we have provided a default value while creating the DFF, it should reflect a Default value in DFF while creating invoice, but right now, we are getting just BLANK field.

We have checked this feature in PO Line Level, PO Distribution Level, Invoice Line Level, etc areas, everywhere system is fetching the Default Value provided in setup. But in case of DFF created at Invoice Distribution level, Default value provided in Setup is not reflecting in DFF. It shows a blank DFF.
