Taleo Enterprise OBIA - Filter (Requisition Posted date based a Candidate Submission Date)

I'm building a report about Applicants which includes info like Requisition, Posting Start and End Date (Requisition Tracking History Event Date for Event Type "Requisition Posted"), Candidate info, Date of Application (Job Submission Completion Date), Our requisitions can get reposted from time to time. This becomes a challenge since per Application record, I need to display the correct Posting Date (from History by making sure that the Posting Date is earlier than the Candidate's application date). To do this, I am using the code snippet below but it doesn't seem to work. Using MAX with conditions like
