Eloqua SFTP upload strips paragraph spacing in cell - leads to one long wall of text

Set up an SFTP upload to trigger response emails to clients.

Here is how the process looks - data is generated and dropped into the cells of the upload file. Some of the data is in multiple paragraphs and is separated with line breaks. The data file is then loaded to Eloqua CDO via SFTP and field merged into an email template. Currently manually loading the CSV file for testing into the CDO and emails are sent out and field merge is merging data loaded.

Problem is that when file is loaded the paragraph spacing is stripped, leading to poorly formatted content. How can I keep the paragraph spacing through the upload and field merge process to display field merge content with spacing?
