Single invoice with cross ledger accounting

Summary:

Can a single invoice have two lines that are from different legal entities resulting in accounting different ledgers?

Content (required):

We are told that we can't have a single invoice that has lines that goes to different ledgers. We have customers that want a single invoice, most in US$ but one line is a service provided by one of our Candian entities whose accounting should go to Canadian primary ledger. Our consultants say that we can't get the accounting correct without creating two invoices and putting US entities on one invoice and Canadian entity on another. Is there any way to have one invoice where lines are accounted amounts correctly into two different ledgers without a manual

Howdy, Stranger!
