How to best manage remote workers/locations?

Summary:

We operate in all 50 states with approximately ~10k employees, mostly all remote/WFH, with maybe ~15-20% working from client locations. Struggling with how to best manage the remote workers/locations.

Content (required):

Setting up locations requires physical address information (screen shot below) - so we created 1 per state with fake/Remote address. This is not ideal vs. 1-2 locations (Remote/Hybrid) and pulling state from the employees home state location or even if we needed to create 1-2 per state but not require physical address location.

In the connections page and public profile information, the fake location shows (see screenshot below) and causes confusion (and if it were the employees actual home location (city/state) then it would cause privacy concerns) - have not figured out how to hide this.

Howdy, Stranger!
