Ownership management for CbCR cube

We have a scenario where entity needs to move from one parent to another for CbCR hierarchy. Since Ownership is not working on CbCR hierarchy, therefore the only option to move shared member from one parent to another is to delete from existing parent and recreate under a new parent.

However, if we do this then data status for prior year will also be changed to ‘system change’ . If a consolidation is run on prior period, then numbers for prior period would change. Is there a way to stop a consolidation on prior period
