Country in Talent Profile

Hi Team,

In the Item Creation page under Item Catalog, we have option to associate Countries to each Items. Lets say for Degree if we are creating Items, we have options to associate Countries. Does this country association drive anything in front end. We want that in Education Section in skills and qualification page, when we select countries, the list of values in Degree field should appear country based. Can anyone let know if this is possible?
