Edit Period Amount in Project Financial Management

Problem Description


The Edit Period Amounts window, the hours getting re-distributed randomly in other months if we make hours as zero in one month.This affects the past assignment hours.

If managers wants to move the Plan hours to future months, this gets distributed randomly. Manager trying to remove Sep hours and move it to Oct but when he deletes the entry in Sep Previous month Plan hours gets distributed randomly.


When using the option 'Edit Period Amounts' for a project task , addition of Plan hours or reduction of Plan hours does not alter the previous month hours but when you make the hours as 0 it gets distributed accordingly, Can you suggest how to make the plan hours of Previous months to remain constant when we delete the hours of any of the months listed (Future or past)
