Punchout suppliers are sorted in the alphabetical order vertically NOT horizantally

Currently, we have around 15 suppliers which are sorted alphabetically but in vertical direction. The requirement is to go and sort alphabetically in horizontal direction. We want the rows to be filled first and then proceed to the next row in the alphabetical order. Please help on how to proceed with this requirement.
