Ensure the inventory stock for the Sales Order

Summary:

We have a requirement for ensuring the stock for the Sales Order, the customer creates a sales order through an external system, the external system has the logic to see if Fusion has the stock for the ordered item, if Fusion doesn't counts with availibility the external system can create a Purchase Order, but how would the orchestration process can be denifined so the sales order waits for the stock (reception of the Purchase Order).
