Simple Components Salary Basis with Workforce Comp Question

Summary:

Content (required): We have set up a salary basis using Simple Components (see screenshot below). We noticed that when we use simple components we lost the ability to select our other components that we use in our incremental salary basis (ex. Promotion, Market Adjustment, etc). This comes in to play mainly with workforce comp. We have several people that receive an annual increase and a promotion at the same time.

We set up the simple components based on what our India office needs (of course those components did not include promotion, market adjustment, etc.). We searched customer connect and found a post that said one option to fix this problem is to add promotion, market adjustment, etc. to the simple components list of values. We did that and we made promotion, market adjustment, etc. optional because they cannot be required due to not everyone will receive them.

Howdy, Stranger!
