ODA IP Information - 403 error

edited Oct 13, 2023 9:17PM in Digital Assistant 2 comments

Summary:

Hi Team,

We are facing a 403 error in a REST API with a custom component. Then we found this Oracle Doc ID 2637866.1, that recommends adding the ODA IP that is returned by a custom skill and add that in our LBAC set up.

However, even after adding the IP returned by IPInfo skill into our LBAC configuration, we are still facing the same 403 issue.

The only way to fix the issue was by adding the privilege to a public role and given that public role to all of our employees - which of course, we would like to avoid. Once we do that, the REST API in the custom component works like a charm. When we keep the privileges and current/existing Employee roles (private), it does not work.

Howdy, Stranger!
