Fast formula on Background Check is not refreshing the phase and state on candidate application

Summary:

There is a client requirement that after the background check is completed by 3rd party , the phase and state of the candidate should get updated or refreshed according to the result received in the system.

We have setup the same using custom fast formula and actions on the CSP states. But the status is not getting changed on the candidate application page post completion of background check by 3rd party.
