Does MFA affect OIC integrations?

Its stated that MFA can cause issues when running oracle cloud integrations. It states that i should receive a 401 error, however it seems like i get a 403 error. Can someone verify if this error below is caused by MFA.
The context is, i am trying to call an OIC integration from EPM task manager using a task type specified and i am getting an error when the EPM task manager is calling this integration. but the error is from the OIC side rather than the EPM side, i have tried multiple things such as importing SSL certificates. I believe it might be an issue with the MFA enabled on the OIC tenancy, however before i go through the long process of trying to disable this want to confirm that this is what could be causing the issue.
