Approval workflow based on other compensation goes into error when there is no other compensation

Summary:

We have a requirement to trigger the approval flow based on other compensation. The condition is very simple. If other compensation is used in offer, then trigger approval to XYZ which works fine. However, when there is no other compensation chosen in the offer, it goes into an error. This seems like a known issue and support has suggested to use "(GetOfferFieldsResponse.result.Other Compensation.empty == true)" condition for such cases. Have any of you faced this issue? If yes, how did you use this condition in your approval workflow? Or any other workarounds?
