Using SOAP Web Services to Automate the Promotion of BIP and OTBI Reports

Summary:

We are in the process of migrating to Oracle ERP cloud and need to determine a process/tool to automate and provide version control around BIP and OTBI report migrations. It seems like Oracle still does not offer REST APIs for BIP/OTBI in Oracle cloud/Fusion but they do offer SOAP web services? Looking for instances where someone has created a custom solution to automate the migration of these reports from instance to instance and maintain a source-controlled repository for audit purposes.

We are looking for a way to incorporate an automated migration process for deploying new and updates to BIP and OTBI report types. I'm looking for feedback, suggestions, shared experiences in doing something similar and/or marketed tools available for purchase to do this. Thank you for any feedback you can provide!
