Is there a way for a fixed percentage to show 3 decimal places and everything else show 2 decimals

Summary: In a salary basis that uses simple components; Is there a way to have a default value show 3 decimal places and everything else show 2 decimals?

In the screen shot below it shows the setup of the simple component salary basis.

The default value for the component Basic Salary is 37.188 and we have confirmed that it has to be 3 decimals, but any other salary, bonus, etc is 2 decimals in our system. We do not have anything else that is set to 3 decimals.

Is there any way to achieve this?
