Is a substitute & supersession relationship simultaneously supported by Supply & Replenishment Plan

Summary:

My customer Toyota Motor Europe is working in the automotive industry.

We have many supersessions (replacement of old item with new item).

For the supersession process, we have 2 major requirements:

1/ In demand management we need to transfer the demand (forecast) for the old part to the new part.Demand Management supports this supersession forecasting process via the use of a supersession relationship between old part A and new part B. Hence we need to define a relationship of the type "Superseeded by" between old item A and new item B. This can be done either in Product Information management or via FBDI "ScpItemSubstituteImportTemplate".
