How to use Supersession chain in GOP and use up supply of oldest part. How to setup?

Summary:

Toyota Motor Europe is working in the automotive industry.

We have many supersessions between old parts and newer versions of the parts.

Each newer version is created as a different part.

In forecasting Demand Management, Oracle allows to use the relationship type "Superseeded by" from old part A to new part B. This will transfer the forecast to the latest part B so that we start purchasing the latest part B in planning. Planning will take into the Supersession Chain while planning for the new supply.

However as there will be still stock and onhand of the old part, we want to use Global Order Promising (GOP) to make sure that as long as the old part A is still available but new item B is ordered that GOP substitutes with the supply of the old part A.
