Ability to track ownership of Installed Base Assets

Hi members , We want to understand if there is any possibility to maintain an "Owner" field in Installed Base Asset that is out of the box, this will enable us to track ownership of assets, in case of repairs the ownership will be with the customers of the client, in case of returns the ownership will change from the customers to the client etc. Let us know if it is possible to track ownership information as standard functionality on assets.
