HSDL Error After Implementing AutoComplete Rules

Implemented 2 Autocomplete Rules in Production and received an error when trying to complete an HSDL load. The error message referenced both Autocomplete Rules. Message details: startup failed: General error during class generation: Method too large: oracle_apps_hcm_workStructures_jobs_m
We want the rule to validate the grade level DFF. Basically if the JOB Family is X, and the Grade is X, the Grade Level field value should be X.
There are 279 Job Families and 13 (we split the values into 2 rules) values in total.
Can you confirm why we received the error and if so what is a better way to construct the rules??
