Summary: Trying to figure out how create an allocation by percentage from one company to another over a group of departments and accounts


Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Cost center 117, Dept 400-499, Accounts 61xxx-69999

Allocate 40% of PTD expenses to cost center 047, Dept 400-499, Accounts 61xxx-69999

Offset cost center 117

I am not sure if I need to break this out to multiple allocations or not. I was able to allocate 1 expense correctly. It is over the ranges of departments/accounts where I am not sure how to write the allocation.

Not sure if I need multiple formulas or an allocation and a formula or IF it is even possible to accomplish with one allocation. I created a new hierarchy for the 61xxx-69999 accounts (not sure if that was necessary or not). Not sure if I need a new hierarchy for the departments also.
