Retro event on work schedule change
Summary:
Can a retro event be created when an employee's work schedule changes?
Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):
Where working day proration is being used, any changes to the work schedule can have a material effect on payroll calculations because the number of working days in the month changes. If an employee's working hours remain the same (so the assignment isn't updated), but their work schedule changes (e.g. from working 5 days a week to 4 days a week compressed hours), we would expect their salary and allowances to retro, and any absence calculations using working day pay calcs would also need to be revisited.
