OCI: Errors While Changing The Ownership Of Mounted OCI Storage Bucket Folder Structure

SYMPTOMS

OCI storage bucket as SFTP folder structure has been mounted. This folder is used for dumping few extracts and sending to data lake. The folder structure was under opt, after the packages/patch updates from OSMS in OCI and the folder ownership has changed to root owner. Due to this, the extracts are not getting downloaded from opt user which used to connect to the folder.

CAUSE

When we try to change the ownership of the mounted folder with the below command, we get the following error. because chown and chmod does not work on s3fs filesystem.
