The compensation amounts are entered in a specific currency in fusion application in an organization. However, the HR Managers/Analysts/Workers would want to view the amounts in a currency that is of their preference or the currency of the specific country in which they are based. The Compensation subject areas provide the users an option to view the amounts in currency entered in fusion application as well the preferred currency setup for the specific user.

The link "salary__user_preferred_currency_conversion_viewlet_swf.html" in the folder "Salary - User Preferred Currency Conversion" contains a viewlet demo to illustrate the setup needed in fusion application, OTBI and also a sample analysis created to display the salary amount in multiple currencies.
