Impact on Legal Employer when changing Ledgers in Financials

We have both Oracle Financials and Oracle HCM modules active in our environment. Due to a big impact business change, our legal entities that act as legal employers need to change ledgers. Due to system limitations, the only way to do this is to create a new Legal Entity, move over the attached Business Unit(s) and then discard the old Legal Entity.

I've been searching for potential impact on our HCM setup, but so far I've not been able to find any resources on this.

When I run this SQL, I do see the 'old' Legal Entity there, which was renamed to start with XXDIF (and another legal entity starting with DONOTUSEDIF that was changed pre-HCM setup):
