Does anyone have good templates for documenting your instance outside of Eloqua?

I'm looking to better document my instance. For example, contact fields with definition of data and what data integrations or programs are updating them. And data integrations: purpose, source of data, data mapping, associated campaigns/assets. Would love any ideas/templates from those who have successfully organized this information outside of Eloqua.
