Pattern Matching to prevent use of letters with accents in person name

Hi there, we are trying to create an autocomplete rule using pattern matching to prevent the use of letters with accents (Eg á, é, â, ê, ã, ñ, ä, ë).
I've tried a few different ways, but can't seem to get the rule to prevent the use of accented characters. Just wondering if anyone has created any similar rules? I can create a rule the prevents special characters, but still allows me to use accented characters.
