Need to change deduction frequency to take an extra deduction in 2024

In 2024 we will only have 23 first and second pay periods paid in the calendar year. Normally we take benefit deductions on the First and Second pay periods 24 times per year. With the way the check dates fall in 2024 we would only have 23 scheduled deductions. Have other organizations encountered this issue in the past and how did you handle the deductions? We're considering changing the deduction frequency on the necessary deduction elements to process on the Third Pay Period, we'd effective date the change and then change it back to the normal First and Second period
