How to prevent job description changes after posting?

Summary: i want to prevent a user from editing the job description after the job has been posted, so that we can ensure a consistency in the description.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information): We have a quality assurance process prior to posting and we want to ensure that no one (hiring manager or recruiter) is able to change the description without approval. Procedurally we ask them to unpost before making changes, but we don't have any way to enforce that. Are there any options to restrict access to the field after posting? Is auditing available to determine who changed a job description and when?
