Custom Rule cannot be enabled because it has failed Validations. Invalid dimension member

Summary:

I have a member name with periods e.g. 3543.1001.100004. I can use this member as source, target, driver in Allocation rules. However, I cannot use this member in Custom Calculations formula section. It generates the following validation error:

This is the simlified formula in custom rule type:

[3543.1001.100001] := ([EIUA_RechargeAmount],[3543.1001.100004],[No_Product],[PCM_NoRule],[PCM_Input]);


Can I use an escape sequence to define the member with periods?
