Previous approver to receive notification once the next approver rejects the PR or PO.

Summary:

We have a scenario where a transaction (PR or PO) has multiple approvers. The first approver approved the transaction, then the second approver rejected the transaction. The requester (PR)/ Buyer (PO) received a notification that the PR/PO was rejected by the 2nd approver however the 1st approver did not receive a notification. The client wished that the 1st approver will be able to receive the rejection notification as well so when the requester (PR)/ Buyer (PO) resubmitted the transactions, he will be alerted that it was resubmitted due to rejection of the 2nd approver.

Is there a way to achieve this? Or perhaps a workaround?
