Summary:

How to achieve Security on Customer Account or Party via Job roles, users belonging to one Legal Entity/Business Unit should not be allowed to view or edit customer account(or Party) belong to different Legal Entity/Business Unit. Currently such security is possible only at Customer Account Site since it is associated to Reference Data Set, but Customer Accounts or Party is not possible.

Hi Team,

Our organization is heading towards divestiture so will spin off part of business to another company, there is a need to simultaneously operate 2 different public listed companies with different legal entities in same Oracle instance for a duration until actual split can be achieved via split project execution, may be for a year. These 2 different companies will be using its separate list of customer accounts but in same Oracle instance. We are aware Customer sites can be secured via Account Address Sets(Reference Data Set) and that in turn can be secured using different Job roles for different Legal
