Open an activity that had been created from a plugin

I'm having a flow where i execute the below one after the other in OFSC

1. Create a lunch activity

2. Link the activity to its parent

They are all executed via APIs and I'm getting success responses for all. After that i need to immediately redirect to the newly created activity upon closing but i keep going back to the other activity. Im using the below snippet to perform the redirection. Could you please let me know why this is not working?
