BOM validation across configurators - CPQ 23D

Hello,

We are working on building out a Nested configurator using the BOM mapping. We created an example one and pulled in various configurators previously created and have them on the BOM configurator.

The issue lies in the cross configuration rules. I want to try and create a validation that for example checks a field on one of the configurators then will error on another configurators field.

Example if Site 1 field in Config 1 is Yes then field Part 2 in Config 2 cant be X.

I have tried going through the documentation and build out a rule but nothing seems to be working the way we are expecting. Is there a certain way these rules need to be made?
