Order Line spilliting functionality is not working

Hi.

In our business scenario order line splitting functionality is not providing results as expected.


Scenario is: We have on-hand quantity of Item A which is equal to 100 and available to reserve, and we have a customer order for the same item A with 150 quantities. So, after the submission of the sales order, the sales order line split into two. line 1-1 contains 100 qty as per the availability of item and line 1-2 contains 50 qty, line 1-1 status is awaiting shipping, and line 1-2 is stuck with the error of insufficient quantity. We add 30 qty of Item A through Misc. Receipt or Purchase order and after receiving we run the
