Had Running Employment Diagnostic Auto Correct in commit mode caused any issue?

Original Problem : While trying to enable People Group field for various employment related pages, It got Visible and editable for Add Pending worker. It also got Visible for Edit current assignment record (Employment Info-> Employment History -> Assignment ) and Change Assignment, but we cannot edit it.

We enquired CCC with our query and we were suggested to run "Employment Diagnostic Auto Correct" in report mode and then in commit mode. We did ran it for one employee and People group field was now editable for Edit current assignment record and Change Assignment as well.
