How to pass a project parameter to an otbi or bip report from a Maintenance Work order screen?

I want to show a budget report on the work order maintenance screen. The requirement is when a user enters the project number on the work order screen then show the budget status on the page using an OTBI or BIP report. The question is if I need to pass the value from the Work order page to an OTBI report, what is the binding parameter?
