Revenue Contingency on Payment not working for Late Charge Invoice

Hello,

Our requirement is to have revenue contingency for AR late charge invoices...that means unless customer pays the amount for late charge invoices..it will be on unearned revenue..once receipt applied to late charge invoice..revenue will be recognised

For that we created a specific Transaction type and source for late charge. Also using the same transaction type we defined Revenue Contingency Rule (on Payment)

But when Late Charges invoices are booked, contingency is not applied and directly revenue is captured.

But using the same late charge transaction type when i am booking manual invoice, revenue contingency is captured. Can any body please let us know the reason.
