We have set Future Enterable Period to 1 for all ledgers and went live 2 months before. Now business would like to set it back to 0 in the system.

I have reviewed couple of note IDS in Metalink and as per note ids, if set it back from 1 to 0, it will have lot of impact and not suggestable.

But business faced lot of issues due to system is allowing entries but not posting. Sometimes user post the nov-23 entries in Dec-23 month, system take system date as Accounting date, user need to change the accounting date manually. If user miss to change, it will account in Dec-23 month.
