Is there any documentation available in how FAW Custom Schema access/security works?

Can someone point me to any documentation on how access/security will work on FAW custom schema. I understand FAW will inherit the Fusion schema for the standard dashboards and reports it comes with. We can sync the identity cloud on both ERP and FAW to grant similar access. However if we build the repository on FAW how will this work?
