Work Schedule not applicable

Summary:

Hi Team, there is an employee whose work schedule is set as ( 28 hours - Mon, Tues, wed, Thursday, 5h -15 min + Friday 7 hrs.(one hour lunch break)

HR assigned this work schedule to employee with the start date as 15/10/2023 which falls on sunday. Now she corrected the work schedule assignment and assign the work schedule again with the start date as 16/10/2023 . But the assignment is still not applicable. what could be the reason behind this?
