Regarding the date to transfer and post journal entries for costing results

Summary:

We went live with Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll few years ago(US Legislation) and opted to choose parameter as E (date earned) for accounting date to transfer and post journal entries for costing results. Now if we want to switch the parameter to P (process date/Date paid) is that doable in oracle HCM Cloud ? If yes, what are recommendations and considerations we need to account for before making these changes in production ?

Interested to know what will happen to data which got transferred till date with E as parameter ?

what are the impacts to retro costing process with the changes in parameter ?
