Non-Project Charge acct expend org error occurs & there is no field 4 this. Is there a fix?

Summary:

Do I need to create an Idea for this or is this slated to be fixed in a release in 2024? In the Resp UI, when you enter a non-project charge account, it is requiring an expenditure org and there is no field to do this. I am able to submit this with the Classic UI.
